Launch of FastFlood Global

This November 10th, we’re taking flood modelling to the next level with the launch of FastFlood Global. The new platform combines global coverage with high-resolution, interactive flood forecasting, delivering results within seconds instead of days.

With built-in global datasets and resolutions down to one meter, FastFlood Global allows users to instantly test flood scenarios, explore the impact of storms, and simulate flood defences or landscape changes in real time. The platform has already been successfully applied to major events such as the 2021 Valkenburg floods, 2024 Bangladesh floods, and Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica, 2025, demonstrating strong accuracy and reliability.

Key improvements include higher accuracy, finer resolution, and massive speed gains, along with a simplified user experience. New support options are also available to help users get started and stay ahead in flood risk assessment.

With FastFlood Global, flood modelling is no longer a slow, computationally heavy process; it’s instant, interactive, and ready for any location on Earth.
